Here’s the lineup:

Ike Davis, 1B

Jeff Francoeur, RF

Chris Carter, LF

Henry Blanco, C

Alex Cora, 2B

Johan Santana, LP

Tonight’s lineup vs. Marlins; Pagan out again.

Angel Pagan still has some soreness in his right side that makes it uncomfortable to hit left-handed. That’s why Jesus Feliciano pinch-hit for him last night and was in center field on the game winning hit, and why he’s not in the lineup tonight against righty Chris Volstad.

Here’s tonight’s lineup vs. Marlins:

Jose Reyes, SS

Jesus Feliciano, CF

David Wright, 3B

Ike Davis, 1B

Jason Bay, LF

Chris Carter, RF

Rod Barajas, C

Alex Cora, 2B

Mike Pelfrey, RP

Bay update

BAY: Day to day.

Jason Bay has a bruised left quad muscle from his collision last night with Indians first baseman Andy Marte.

Bay stayed in the game but was eventually removed when the bruise “knotted up,’’ as he put it and replaced by Jesus Feliciano.

The Mets list him as day-to-day.

It is Jerry Manuel’s policy to normally sit a player the game after he removes him because of an injury so don’t be surprised to see Feliciano start tonight against Cleveland’s Jake Westbrook.

Mets DFA Matthews

MATTHEWS: Wasn't contributing

Outfielder Gary Matthews was designated for assignment this afternoon and catcher Omir Santos was recalled from the minor leagues. Odd choice to carry three catchers. I would have thought they’d bring up outfielder Jesus Feliciano, who has been scalding the ball at Class AAA Buffalo.

Matthews had been playing terribly and getting less and less opportunities. Fans and posters here have been calling for his release.

Still no word on whether Luis Castillo has been placed on the DL. If so, expect infielder Ruben Tejada to be promoted from Buffalo.

The Mets won’t likely officially activate tomorrow’s starter, Jon Niese, until game time.
