Wishing You All A Very Happy New Year

Good morning all. I’ll have posts later today on the Mets and baseball related, but for now I just want to wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

The blog has evolved over the years and there will be additions and improvements this season as well. Hopefully, the blog’s improvement will coincide with that of the Mets.

Of course, if there’s anything you’d like to see on the blog that has been in short supply, I am all ears.

For the veteran names who have been with me from the beginning, I am grateful for your friendship and the support you’ve given me. For the newcomers, thanks for joining us and I hope you’ll continue to be a part of things.

As always your comments and thoughts are most appreciated.

All my best,

JD

Happy New Year Mets Fans

Good morning all, and perhaps in some cases, good afternoon. I hope you had a happy and safe New Year’s Eve and wish you carry that throughout the year.

January 1 always represents a fresh start, from diet to exercise to breaking bad habits. There will time enough for that, but for now I will honor my own holiday tradition which is to spend the day making my own list of resolutions, both personal and for the blog.

I will also spend part of the day writing Happy New Year’s notes to family and friends, and, of course, watching the bowl games. I liked it better when there were up to seven games today instead of spreading them out for a week.

I will share them with you shortly, along with several resolutions the Mets should make. For now, I hope you’ll spend the day with your friends and family before it is back to the grind before our next national holiday, which is the Super Bowl.

Happy New Year

I wish all of you a very Happy New Year in all the important categories. Health and family. Any happiness you get from the Mets is an added bonus.

There are a lot of great things about New Year’s. Best is the sense of renewal that comes with January 1. Another, of course, is the Twilight Zone marathon.

I don’t what the year will bring, but I am optimistic as usual. I know I come across as a negative bastard to some of you when it involves the Mets, but some of that comes in all of the positive things coming out of Queens the past few years. In the big picture, however, I try to be positive.

I will keep up the blog again because the reward I get is my feedback with you. My intent of the blog is that of a group of friends getting together to talk about the Mets. Many of you have stayed with me through the years, and for that I am grateful.

I wish you nothing but the best, not only for this year, but in all the years to follow.

Wishing you all the best.

I hope you all had a safe New Year’s Eve celebration and woke up today full of optimism and enthusiasm for the upcoming year. I wish for you a safe, healthy and happy new year, and also a sense of humor and patience when it comes to watching your New York Mets.

Thank you and enjoy the bowl games.

Best,
