Jenrry Mejia has a strained right shoulder and has been shut down indefinitely. The official release said  he has a posterior cuff strain and “will return to throwing as tolerated,” which is a fancy way for saying he’ll throw again when he feels better.

This will undoubtedly shelve any trade talks involving him as he has become a question.
