Blog redesign ….

After the World Series I plan to re-design the blog. After a slow period this summer, I’ve started to write more and do more things. I will continue to increase the content in a variety of ways and also would like to change the appearance.

If there’s anything you would like to see in the form of content or appearance, or any suggestions you might have, they would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, and thanks for your support.

Good morning ….

Greetings friends. This morning I’d like to introduce you to a new venture, a blog on New York football. We’ll be talking Jets and Giants during the games the way we did Mets.

I figure it will be slow at first, so I’m asking your help to bear with me and to spread the word. And, if you have a baseball question or comment, just post it here and I’ll get to it between the football games.

As usual, thanks for your support. Please click here to go to the football post:

Talkin’ Baseball: Game 3 in Philly

Talkin' Baseball: Game 3 chatter.

Talkin' Baseball: Game 3 chatter.

Good evening. A lot going on today kept me away from the blog. We have a few items to touch on before we get to Garza vs. Moyer.

-Willie Randolph turned down the Washington Nationals to be a coach. He must have a good feeling about either the Milwaukee or Seattle jobs. He’ll land somewhere.

-The Phillies are feeling a bit miffed because their complete rosters weren’t introduced. They weren’t because MLB and the network, that would be FOX, couldn’t have the time to squeeze that in. Actually, that’s part of the World Series TV experience I enjoy.

Taking care of business ….

-Please subscribe to the blog. No cost. That way you’ll be notified of new posts.

– I received an email this week from a faithful reader requesting features. A great idea, and starting next week you’ll see something along those lines.

-This week I posted two commentaries. And, you’ll be seeing more of those, also.

-At the upper left corner there’s a sidebar “Popular Post.” It lists the threads with the most comments. Feel free to go back in time. If something jumps out at you, comment under the latest “Loose Threads.”

-I am not a tech genius by any stretch. I’ve started adding some links and you’ll see that segment gradually growing. If there are any links, either Mets or baseball, let me know.

As always, thanks.-JD
