May 13, Mets’ Lineup At Cubs

The following is the lineup for the Mets behind Matt Harvey as he hopes to snap a two-game losing streak tonight at Chicago against the Cubs:

  1. Looking at this lineup.

    There is a significant difference between this and what we started the season with.

    The bottom half of the lineup is pretty bad.

    Not that we have anyone at the top who is hitting well

  2. Someone here has been ragging on Dan pretty bad, saying he has no baseball iq

    So Murphy steals third. This from a player with no speed who has been double digits in steals for a few years now.

    He is not the best stealer in the world, but he gets his. Dan has his issues which is mostly on defense. But he hustles and tries hard. Most of his teammates over the years can’t say the same.

    • I’ve been ragging on Murph for his low baseball IQ. He still has a low baseball IQ. One stolen base doesn’t change a shoddy body of work. But nice try.
