Wishing You All A Very Happy New Year

Good morning all. I’ll have posts later today on the Mets and baseball related, but for now I just want to wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

The blog has evolved over the years and there will be additions and improvements this season as well. Hopefully, the blog’s improvement will coincide with that of the Mets.

Of course, if there’s anything you’d like to see on the blog that has been in short supply, I am all ears.

For the veteran names who have been with me from the beginning, I am grateful for your friendship and the support you’ve given me. For the newcomers, thanks for joining us and I hope you’ll continue to be a part of things.

As always your comments and thoughts are most appreciated.

All my best,

  1. John, cheers!!

Happy New Year and thank you for all your great work throughout the year.

  2. John happy new year

Perhaps you can give us your thoughts of players in the minors who could help the team this year.

We picked up a veteran pitcher and 2 hitters who supposedly have some power but can’t hit.

So for a team that had major problems last year hitting the ball and of course scoring we need help.

Since the offseason is over – unless we get Drew- it is time to look at internal solutions.

Last year we had two legit hitters in David and Dan.

This year we still have only 2 legit hitters David and Dan.

I know you are on record that the two outfielders we picked up will help.

As far as I am concerned it is an upgrade because they are MLB players. That is about it. I don’t think too much about Grandy and less of Young.
