  1. Its good to see bay is back. Despite his lack of homers so far, he has proven himself to be more than adequate fielder despite metrics that say otherwise. His positive attitude and hustle have helped change the attitude of the team. Still, He needs to step up his production if the mets are going to keep winning. Wright and Francour are bound to cool off soon.

  2. (1) I don’t think the Mets paid 15 mil per year on average for 4 homers by mid June for Bay. He really needs to step it up.

  3. (3) I think the most ironic thing is that three of the four were hit at home!

  4. JD: One suggestion…when you post the Mets lineup for the day’s game, would you also post the opposing team’s lineup? It’s be nice to see how the other side is planning to attack.

  5. 1 Ray, just to address your last comment from the Mejia item, the people who rioted last night in Downtown L.A. after the Lakers’ victory are complete morons. Unfortunately, in every city there are always a few jackasses who “celebrate” their sports teams’ victories by vandalizing and destroying property and hurting people. And gang violence there, yes, continues to be a problem, as is continued police brutality. As for which city is best to live in, to each his or her own. Still, I’ll gladly take L.A. and next month plan on enjoying the view of the palms and mountains beyond the outfield fence of beautiful Dodger Stadium, while hopefully on the field, our Mets beat the Dodgers.
