Off-season waiver claim Jay Marshall is being returned to the A’s because of a pre-existing injury.

On the surface, this looks like the Mets being cheap, wanting their money back and not being interested in paying for Marshall’s medical bills.

However, this conveniently opens up a spot on the 40-man roster, paving the way for one of the non-roster candidates.

I’m putting my money on Santos going next.

Its Spring training. I didnt see anything horrible or horrendous SO I am happy.
Lets see what comes of it.
