There’s something about a Sunday ….

Have a good day. Enjoy your music.

Kris Kristofferson sang a song, “Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down.” I’m listening to it now. Soft, sad and sweet.

Shredded wheat for breakfast. Heading to the mall to pick up my suit. Moving kind of slow this morning. Long night.

I didn’t think they’d play last night. Great, great game. Last night is why I love baseball. I just wish the people who ran the sport and the televising of it loved it like those who blogged with me last night.

That’s a game everybody should have seen. Too bad much of the country missed it. You have to know there were those who flipped on FOX and flipped it off after seeing a sit-com. Others watched college football. Others just went to sleep. The World Series is your showcase event and people miss it.

I’ll be watching tonight, but before I’ll watch Giants-Steelers.

If there’s anything on your mind before then, here’s your message board. Talk soon. Later, JD.

  1. Steelers – Giants, huh?
Have you turned into a full fledged New Yorker?
I understand you been covering new york based teams for about a decade but still its good to know you’re viewership loyalties lie with the New York teams.

  2. Power finally back on here, and the tree that fell across the roadway has been removed. I should be used to the New England weather, anyway, that’s why I left early last night – no power.

Kristofferson – who can forget him with Streisand in ‘A Star is Born’? In fact, I think I’ll watch that this afternoon – I haven’t seen it in a while.

    Any comments about Isiah?

  3. Isiah is being Isaih again. Delusional… evading.

The poor guy needs help but you really can’t help those who don’t want to be helped.

I feel bad for his kid, even if she was the overdose victim that’s not something you say to the press… let alone anyone else.

  4. The Giants-Steelers is the game of the week (possibly of the year to this point). People in my area will only be able to watch that epic showdown between the 49’s and Seahawks.

  5. While I don’t think it was a GOTY caliber game it was very entertaining. And the Seahawks and Jets won. It was a good day.
