Maine has successful surgery

John Maine underwent successful arthroscopic shoulder surgery today at New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery. Mets Medical Director Dr. David Altchek and Mets Team Physician Struan Coleman removed a lesion from the back of his shoulder socket.

The Mets said Maine will begin throwing again in December.

  1. Hey JD, I had no idea about what happened until I went over to the LoHud site and noticed you weren’t doing the write ups. After a quick Google search to see what you were up to, here I am.

Site looks good and I will definitely make it one of my stops.

It’s obviously been a while since I’ve had a chance to get online and talk some Mets. It’s imperative that Maine gets his shoulder cleaned up and rehabbed because this rotation sure did miss him in September.
