Tonight’s lineup vs. Florida

I like it. Ramon Martinez is back at second base. He’s the best alternative with Damion Easley not 100 percent. Catcher Brian Schneider, who didn’t play last night because of a sore back returns to the lineup.

Here’s the METS lineup vs. Florida:

SS Jose Reyes
LF Daniel Murphy
3B David Wright
1B Carlos Delgado
CF Carlos Beltran
RF Ryan Church
2B Ramon Martinez
C Brian Schneider
RH Mike Pelfrey

Hope you don’t mind me posting this JD, but figured it was pretty good news everyone should be aware of.

    Per Adam Rubin’s blog:

Jerry Manuel did a 180-degree turn during his pregame address, suggesting without naming Johan Santana that he would turn to the ace on short rest on Saturday if the Mets were tied or behind in the wild-card race after Friday’s games. Manuel had insisted all week that he wasn’t inclined to do so.

weather sucks and is going to be a potentially big problem for the Mets all weekend because they will probably have to play a doubleheader….
