  1. For the last 7 days (only 4 games), some of these guys are on fire:
    Delgado – 4HR, 8RBI, .429 avg, 6 runs, ,471 OBP
    Wright – 1, 5, .467, 6, .529
    Beltran – 1, 6, .412,5, .444
    Church – 1, 2, .333, 5, .429
    Tatis – 0, 2, .308, 3, .438

    The key is Reyes. He’s at 0, 0, .176, 2, .263
Even Easley is holding his own: 0, 3, .429, 1, .467, and Schneider is hitting 300.

Murhpy has only had 2 ABs in the last week, and Evans only 3. I wonder if Manuel is going wiht the vets or if the league has caught up to them and understands their weaknesses.

Hopefully the off day helps Schneider. His bat hass been a pleasant surpise for the last month or so. His last 30 days, he’s tied with Wright for 3rd on the Mets in HRs (5) and RBI (15). DelGODo is 1st of course, with 10 and 28 and Beltran is hot too with 7 and 23. Delgado leads the NL in both categories and Beltran is 7th in HRs and 6th in RBIs.
